Saturday - Fly / Istanbul (-) Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to your hotel - check-in time is 1400 hours. In the afternoon, depart for a half-day Bosphorus Cruise. Take in the sights and sounds of this legendary waterway lined with historic villages, grand wooden mansions, imposing fortresses, and the Baroque summer palaces of the late Ottoman sultans. After the cruise, visit the Spice Bazaar, a thrilling riot of colours, sounds, and the rich smells of exotic spices. Overnight in Istanbul.
Sunday - Istanbul / Ankara/ Cappadocia (B/L/D) After breakfast transfer to the airport to catch the 08:00 hrs flight to Ankara, capital of Turkey and one of the fastest growing cities in the world with a history dating back 3000 years. Upon arrival visit the AnatolianCivilisationsMuseum that also exhibits the remains of Catalhoyuk, the Neolithic village dating back to 6500 BC. Then, visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey. After lunch at a local restaurant, your next destination is the mysterious Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Monday - Cappadocia (B/L/D) Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the underground city of Kaymaklı & Citadel of Uçhisar. After lunch continue with the valley of "Göreme" & open air museum. The last sites will be Paşabağ valley and Avanos. Return to hotel for dinner & overnight.
Tuesday - Cappadocia / Konya / Pamukkale (B/L/D) Early departure for Konya. On the way visit the 13 th century Seljukian caravanserai "Sultanhan". The next stop will be Konya which is famous with MevlanaMuseum and the Theological Scholl of Whirling Dervishes.Lunch enroute, drive to Pamukkale.
Wednesday - Pamukkale / Kusadasi (B/L/D) Breakfast and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis.The ruins of the biggest Necropolis Graveyard of the ancient world, Roman Baths, Basilica and calcium cliffs. Drive to Aphrodisias.After lunch visit the Greco-Romen settlement which is remarkably well preserved. The ancient city is dedicated to the Godess of Love, Aphrodite. Drive to Kuşadası, dinner and overnight.
Thursday - Kusadasi (B/L/D) After breakfast at the hotel drive to Meryemana and visit the House of Virgin Mary. Continue to Ephesus, the Romen Capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the temple of Hadrian, the magnificient library, Agora and fantastic greco-roman theatre. After lunch visit the Basilica of St.John.Return to Kusadası.Free afternoon.
Friday - Kusadasi / Canakkale (B/L/D) Early departure for Pergamum. After lunch visits of Asklepion and Acropolis. Continue for Troy. The legendary town in the iliad of Homeros, visit the Athena temple. Drive to Çanakkale, dinner and overnight.
Saturday - Canakkale /Istanbul (B/L) After breakfast cross the strait by ferry and drive to Istanbul along the shores of Marmara sea.
Sunday - Istanbul/Fly (B) After breakfast, depart for a half-day sightseeing tour of the Sultanahmet district at the heart of old Istanbul. Visit St. Sophia (On Mondays replaced by the ChoraChurch), built by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century AD, this church is one of the marvels of world architecture. Its massive dome dominates the skyline of old Istanbul. Next, visit the Blue Mosque, which owes its name to the exquisite tiles adorning its interior. Dating from the 17th century, it is the only imperial mosque with six minarets. Walk through the Hippodrome, the stadium of the ancient Byzantium that once held 100,000 spectators and featured objects from all corners of the empire. Finish the tour a the Grand Bazaar, the commercial heart of the old city with 4,000 shops full of treasures – including carpets and kilims, silks, jewellery, ceramics, icons and leather goods. Wandering through the Grand Bazaar, you may want to indulge in some shopping, Ottoman style. After the tour transfer to airport to take flight to airport for next destination.
